The Northern Beaches Rock House is looking for a new enthusiastic staff member to join our vibrant team!
Description:
We are after a new staff member to join our general gym staff team. Your tasks will be varied and will include customer service, safety supervision and training, bookings and enrolments, junior staff supervision, cleaning, and team work.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Processing sales via our POS and website backend
Signing in customers
Safety supervision to ensure all customers are adhering to our safety standards
Training new customers on the procedures to meet our safety standards
Taking and amending bookings and enrolments for our programs
Supervision and leadership for younger junior staff
General day-to-day cleaning duties around the gym
Desired Skills and qualifications:
Knowledge about climbing and equipment (not essential but highly beneficial)
Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Emails etc.)
Barista skills (beneficial but not necessary)
First Aid certificate or willing to obtain one
Working with children check or willing to obtain one
Proficient communication skills
Attention to detail and initiative
Ability to work weekdays during the day and flexibility to work weekends
What we’re offering:
10 - 20 hours per week
Variation between open and close shifts, weekend shifts, and shorter day shifts in a staff support role
