Rock climbing gives young people a clear challenge, plenty of movement and a chance to build confidence. Visits can be arranged for casual groups or organised youth activities.

Shoe hire for $7, chalk hire for $3 and caving is offered at a discounted rate of $5 each when you book as a group.

WAIVER
A parent or guardian completes the required waiver for each first-time young climber.

WAIVERS & BELAYERS
BEFORE THE SESSION
Every climber needs a completed waiver in advance. We recommend one belayer for every three to four children, and new belayers can be trained by our staff. For a casual visit, complete a waiver and arrive during regular opening hours.

HIRING ROCKHOUSE STAFF
Belay staff cost $60 each for two hours. A $100 deposit is required before staffing can be arranged and is non refundable for cancellations or postponements within seven days.

Groups of 10 or more receive a discounted rate of $20 per climber, per session.

Caving costs an additional $5 per person and requires a minimum of 10 participants.

Yes. Belay staff cost $60 each for two hours. A $100 deposit must be paid before staffing can be arranged.

The $100 staffing deposit is non-refundable if the event is cancelled or postponed within seven days of the booking.

Yes. Event-room hire is $120 for two hours, but the room is not available for hire on weekends.

We recommends one belayer for every three to four children. New belayers can be trained by our staff, while non-climbing belayers pay $3.50 each for harness hire.

Belayers must be 13 or older. Younger climbers need suitable adults or the agreed staffing arrangement for top rope belaying.

Payment can be made on the day. Invoices are available on request and are due 14 days after issue. Billing enquiries can be sent to accounts@rockhouse.com.au.

The Under 16 group rate applies to groups of 10 or more. Smaller groups can visit casually during regular opening hours using the standard casual entry and equipment hire prices.
