School Packages

The cost for booked school groups starts from $8.50 per student,
which includes entry, harness hire, belay lessons,insurance and
professional supervision. Schools and classes must be booked in and
may be booked outside normal opening hours.

Package 1 – School Sport: 

The Rockhouse offers indoor rock climbing as a school sport. With
up to 3 different climbs of different grades on each rope there
is an excellent variety of climbs for the beginner to the advanced
climber. 

If desired, the Rockhouse provides an ongoing term-long program
full of activities, challenges and weekly competitions to keep
students of all levels motivated and involved. 

A high level of safety is maintained at the Rockhouse and qualified
staff, allow your students to experience climbing in a controlled
environment. 

Package 2 – PDHPE Classes: 

The Rockhouse offers the use of its facilities to individual classes
to come in and experience ‘outdoor recreation’ in a controlled
environment. 

Customised days are available and may include; 

1. Specific discussions about sport and competition climbing
2. Basic lessons in technique, movement and skills
3. Access to experienced climbers to answer questions and for
   demonstrations. 

Package 3 - After School Climbing: 

The Rockhouse offers after school climbing at a discounted rate
to schools who book ahead and supply a teacher or other adult
to supervise.
