The Northern Beaches Rockhouse has been a successful indoor climbing centre for over 15 years. It has very high standards which comply with the Sports Climbing Australia  standrds.

The Northern Beaches Rockhouse believes in:

The NBRH has a wide variety of climbs from overhangs to slabs to vertical - you can traverse, boulder, top-rope or lead to your hearts' content.

An important aspect of customer service in our centre is to provide quality routes changed on a regular basis. Our professional route-setters have a combined setting experience of over twenty years. Routes range in difficulty from extremely easy and suitable for complete beginners, to a large number of medium climbs and through to technically difficult for the more experienced climber.

If you need to hire shoes, harness or chalk bag, we've got you covered. If you are interested in buying your own gear, come and check out our gear shop where you will find a variety of harnesses, climbing shoes, traditional and sport climbing hardware, ropes, guide books, magazines and more.

We also run a number of competitions each year that have categories for every level of climber. These competitions are run in conjunction with Sport Climbing Australia.
The NBRH hosts regular gym climbing nights for Sydney Rock Climbing Club and is also a meeting place for Northern Beaches Cliffcare.

PLEASE REMEMBER!

• All climbers must sign a waiver before they can climb
• All climbers under 16 years of age must have their waiver signed by a parent
• All belayers must pass our belay test before belaying in the gym
• All lead climbers and lead belayers must pass our lead test before leading in the gym.
